Craig was Barrick’s Vice President Safety and Health from 2010 - 2017. He has 34 years of mining experience, with 27 years in safety management. He joined Barrick in 2002 as a site safety manager at the Goldstrike mine. He later took on the role as regional safety and health manager for Barrick North America before moving to the corporate office in Toronto in 2006 where he led the development and global implementation of risk and change management processes. He also helped Barrick develop and deliver Courageous Safety Leadership training around the world, which has been a significant factor in improving Barrick’s safety and health performance. He received the Highest Degree of Safety – International Award in 2010 from the International Society of Mine Safety Professionals and continues his pursuit in helping miners achieve the vision of every person going home safe and healthy every day.

Ronald has 22+ years of experience in Open Pit Mining, mainly in Mine Planning and Design, from strategic to tactical mining scenarios. Ronald has collaborated with mining companies such as Freeport McMoRan, BHP Billiton, Kinross, Capstone, Southern Peru, and Antamina. His work experience includes assignments to the Democratic Republic of Congo, Chile, and Peru.

Marcus Mundim has spent 18 years of his career in the automotive industry, particularly focused on hardware and software integration and validation. Mr Mundim joined Hexagon Mining in 2013 to apply his experience to the development of autonomous haulage systems.
He obtained his M.Sc. of Electrical Engineering from UFMG and currently serves as R&D manager for Hexagon Mining.
FMS Product Manager | Hexagon Mining
Marcelo Romero is Product Manager of FMS solutions at Hexagon Mining. Marcelo joined Hexagon in July 2014, bringing more than 17 years’ fleet management experience. Marcelo’s goal is to help create a life-of-mine fleet management solution, incorporating shovels, trucks, auxiliary equipment, and office applications. Marcelo has an electronics engineering degree with a major in automation from Federico Santa Maria Technical University in Chile.

Seth Gering is a Product Manager at Hexagon Mining with the Planning group. He attended University of Arizona and received a Bachelor’s degree in Geosciences and a Master’s in Education. After completing his university education, Seth worked on geology mapping projects for the USGS in Pennsylvania and then returned to Tucson where he taught middle school science for a few years and eventually moved on to work as a geologist at a local geophysics company.
Technical Sales Manager | Hexagon Mining
Born in Australia and raised in Switzerland, Marc has worked 10+ years within the mining and electronics B2B industry including 5+ years leading a mining safety services and support team. He moved to the Hexagon Mining office in Tucson 2 years ago and is currently leading the technical sales team. Marc holds a B.Sc., MS in Communication Systems from the Swiss Institute of Technology.

Javier graduated from the University of Arizona as a Mining Engineer in 2011 and has been working for Hexagon Mining ever since. He works in the Technical Sales group. Javier finds pleasure in discovering how Hexagon technologies continue to provide tangible value to mining operations.
